Sallent Adventure

My name is Daniel Galiano, and with over 25 years of experience exploring the wonders of the mountains, climbing, canyoning, via ferrata, and caving, my journey has been one of constant learning. Humility has been my compass, guiding me through challenges that have taught me more than I have achieved.

In every experience, my passion for adventure has been my loyal companion, revealing an unexpected calling: guiding. The decision to create Sallent is the culmination of this journey, with a burning desire to share not only technical knowledge but also the fundamental values that the mountains have forged in me.

Training and Professional Experience

I trained professionally as a canyon sports technician at the Mountain Sports Center Institute in Pobla de Segur in Pallars, through the ECAM Catalan High Mountain School.

• I am a member of the AEGM Spanish Association of Mountain Guides No. 1925
• I am registered in the ROPEC official registry of Catalan sports professionals Nº 041855
• I also hold several qualifications in first aid and CPR training.
• I previously trained as a rope access technician and difficult-to-access work technician with IRATA, the International Rope Access Association. I received highly demanding training in safety and rescue.

Preservation Actions

Collective collections

On each outing, we encourage our groups to participate in garbage collection activities as an act of solidarity with the environment that welcomes us.

Cleaning and disinfection

All our equipment is cleaned and disinfected using biodegradable products, thus minimizing the environmental impact.

Low-emission vehicle

We travel in a vehicle with the AD Blue system, which significantly reduces polluting gas emissions.

Sharing squares

We encourage our customers to carpool to access our activities, promoting more efficient use of resources and reducing their carbon footprint.

Access care

We keep roads and access roads clean as part of our fight against fires and environmental degradation.
